Privacy Policy
Last updated September 22, 2026. Offline Streak is in development; we will update this policy before launch if anything below changes.
This policy explains how Offline Streak (the iPhone app and offlinestreak.com) handles information. The app is operated by Timothy Hess ("we").
Summary
Goals, sleep hours, schedules, block settings and streak history are planned to be stored and processed on your iPhone. Screen Time information stays within Apple's protected boundary and is not uploaded to us. Deleting the app may remove local data.
Information we collect
- If you choose to create the optional account: your email address and account details needed to sign in
- If you purchase the optional supporter subscription: purchase and subscription status
- Crash and error diagnostics, if enabled, limited to technical details such as app version, device type and fixed error codes
Information we do not collect
- Your app usage or Screen Time activity
- The apps you select to block
- Your sleep hours, goals or streak history
- Location, contacts or Health data
- Advertising identifiers or tracking across other companies' apps
Optional account
An account is optional and never needed to use the app. We will update this policy before launch to match the released app. At that point it will say exactly what an account saves.
iOS permissions
- — To let you choose apps to block, apply your schedules and budgets, and measure qualifying time away. Screen Time data stays within Apple's privacy protections.
- — For optional, quiet reminders that skip your sleep hours. Declining them doesn't affect your streak.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers only to run the app. They may not use your information for their own purposes.
- RevenueCat — Processing the optional supporter subscription and restoring purchases. It does not receive your app content.
- Sentry — Crash and error diagnostics that exclude your personal content. We will confirm the exact fields in this policy before launch.
Advertising
Any ads in the free version promote other apps by the same developer. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-app advertising, and do not use Apple's advertising identifier to track you.
Purchases
Optional supporter subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive purchase status (for example, whether a subscription is active) but never your payment card details.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can use the app without an account, turn off notifications and permissions in iPhone Settings, and delete local data by deleting the app. To access or delete information connected to you, email privacy@offlinestreak.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and protect it with reasonable safeguards. Crash reports are kept for a limited period.
